Tig, in case you'd like to take a little responsibility for what you've caused here, I had to drag Erich off to the Black Bear Diner which has the best blackberry cobbler in the world. I couldn't last another minute.

I promise you as much blackberry pie as you can eat when you and Erich get to Canberra. And I'm not talking cobblers!

Dont feel bad. In a chatroom it was months before I learned what AFK meant. I had assumed it meant "Aw (something obscene)" because whenever anyone said AFK and rushed off, my assumption  seemed to fit.  Like "AFK.. kid broke a glass" or "AFK.. dog is sitting on the cat".

A few days ago, in one of the threads, someone wrote "... as MtB posted earlier..." and it took me a while to figure out who the heck "MtB" was.

What is AFK???

I try to think up meanings for myself. LOL was funny because lol means fun in dutch. But AFK???

What does it mean to be liberal in the US?

I've a feeling that my idea of a liberal (which is based on the so called liberal political party in Sweden) is different from the US definition.
