I don't find it funny.  I find it very sad that people have to resort to a barrage of caustic remarks/insults.  It only escalates the hatred, and the differences don't go away.

Your attitude and that of your liberal comrades makes any sort of open debate impossible because you silence every attempt with a load of insults and noise. For people who enjoy an open debate and hate mindless nodding, that's quite a serious issue.

(I accuse both korrigan and atypical of this because they play to thier strengths in this area out of ignorence of it's inappropriateness in straight non emotions and strictly ivory tower debates),

AGainst whom? Many folks on here have been quite liberal with language and misquoting.  I did not see anything at all clear here. I hope you'll look more clearly for intent.

A few days ago, I started this thread in an attempt to promote mutual respect and tolerance and to get an idea how tolerant people on this site really are. I noticed that those who tend to preach tolerance all the time often are intolerant hatemongers themselves with regards to people who don't share their views.

The end result of this thread only confirmed the latter. In spite of my call for tolerance, I was being called all kinds of names by a bunch of flaming liberals who behaved in the most obnoxious and intolerant way, while they - ironicly - accused me of intolerance. The reason for this apparently is my stating that :
* ) homosexuality is a deviance
* ) multi-culturalism is bunk
* ) wicca is bunk

All of these are statements for which I can provide rational arguments. None of these are based on prejudice and none of these were intended to offend anyone. Nevertheless, when I made either of these statements it felt like I just opened the gates of hell. Some people out here go as far as not even allowing another person to say that it's utter rubbish to believe the world was created in seven days. Go figure !

It wasn't just this one thread, by the way. In this thread, it was exactly alike. It shocked me to see how this bunch of arrogant and narrowminded flaming liberals just kept shouting one insult after another and EvilZakkie even defended them. In fact, he accused me of "racism" and "homophobia" too while ignoring the entire tantrum of insults in my direction and while ignoring the fact that I made several statements that cannot be reconciled with racism and homophobia by any means. I've rarely never seen such an obvious double standard among the moderator of a forum.

Nevertheless, various members contacted me via PM with kind words of support and statements that this is not the first time these people have been behaving in such a way. According to them, I'm not nearly the first victim of their terror and they've been screwing up the atmosphere at this forum for quite some time. Considering various of these people are NT or borderline NT, that makes it even more questionable. These folks behavior is almost identical to that of the bullies many of us had to face in high school and AFF should not be a place where such behavior is tolerated.

I thought that AFF was a place by AS people for AS people, but with all the obnoxious NT-like behavior this place is anything but what I expected. Considering I'm not the only AS who feels that way, I'd like to see this issue openly discussed.

I added an anonymous poll so those who agree with me can voice their opinion without any risk of repercussions.
