Figured I'd make a thread where people might post links to places where people have written about this thing, where Autism Sneaks yet again tries to silence the voice of autistics. Zach has written at least three posts about it himself which he links to from my previous link.

Ballastexistenz (Baggs) - Autism Speaks is at it again towards self-advocates.

Wrongplanet (Plank) - Autism Speaks Intimidates yet another Autistic Blogger - Chilling Effects

The Constant Observer (Sophist) - 'Autism Speaks' wishes autistics would just shut the hell up?

I'm not too eager to include this this guy. I've also written about it, not that you would understand anything of what I was saying.
I went on a blog search with Google and found these, I haven't linked to posts that I felt just mentioned it very briefly.

Normal Is Overrated (codeman38) - Autism Speaks Against Autistic Free Speech and Fair-Use Parody

The Day-to-Day Witch (witchintherealworld) - Autism

feebeeglee (feebeeglee) - Autism Speaks silences autistic people, ironically

Whose Planet Is It Anyway (abfh) - Autism Speaks, You Can't Shut Us Up

G’s Place - Has Autism Speaks copywrited the term “Autism Speaks”?

* Radical Sapphoq (sapphoq) The Politics of Autism; and a Story of a Psychic and an Autistic Child

At least Sophist and Baggs has posted follow-ups to their posts related to the incident.
If anyone would like to know what happened this is the orriginal story and this is how it ended
I'd like some clarification on what actually hapened. It sounds like AS complainedaboutsomething, and you got caught in the crossfire

From what I've read, it seems like Zazzle acted on their interpretation of past threats by Autism Speaks on copyright infringment, rather than a specific threat about TheZachs shirt. And Zazzle obviously overreacted.

Yes it seems that one staff member at Zazzle has over reacted, but from the conversation I had with managment it appers this will not be allowed to happen again over there.

I am continuing to use Zazzle - and honeslty I encourage others to do so as well.  They have officially said they wont touch my shirts unless theres a legal standing so they seem very safe to me.  I won't let this one screw up mess with me as they have learned a lot - and so have I.
I am glad you felt you have learned something. I like your objective postings.
