Anyone else bothered by it, I have a lot of bad luck, its worse on friday the 13th, its not my imagination...really....

Friday the 13th usually means bad luck, sometimes i get bad luck on Friday the 13th, sometimes i get away lightly, though i'm always wary when friday the 13th comes

I usually don't have any different luck than a normal day, so I don't believe in it.

I haven't noticed any differences in the amount of (bad) luck I have experienced before. I'm hopefully going to be able to release v0.2.7 of my textbased RPG on friday the 13th however. There will be a new release of a game programming library, Allegro, (they released 4.2.0 beta 1 on april 1st, and now they are going to release beta 3 on friday the 13th :lol: ) which I use for my game. If it goes well, I guess I will concider it a good day...

I am not superstitious, and have never noticed worse things happening to me on any Friday 13th yet. I even flew to Germany (an eight hour flight) on a Friday the 13th before, and I am here to tell the tale!  :shock:

Amy, you might just think that things happen on Friday the 13th, because you pay closer attention on that day. And if you expect things to go wrong, and are nervous and on edge, its pretty self-fulfilling. Because then you'll likely break things (when I am nervous I am more clumsy than usual), or you'll trip and fall etc., not because of what day it is, but because you are uptight.

I don't believe in it at all, its just another day like any other day to me.

Anyway, i don't belevie it luck. It was either Something we feel good happened or something we fell bad about. Its chance, and theres nothing to change the odds such as luck!

The more you believe it the truer it gets

I simply view luck as the odds, in a non-superstitious way. If I feel the odds are currently "good", I would say that I have "luck".

I'v always considered 13 my lucky number and kind of enjoy having Friday the 13th roll around.   My mother and father were born on the 13th day of their birth month's.  Mine is Sept. 13.  Even my sister and daughter have a set of number in their birthdays that add up easily to 13.

I'v never noticed any difference in luck on Friday the 13th.

I never really have any bad luck on Friday the 13th.  To me, it's just another day.  But my mother is a typist, and on Friday the 13th she often says she makes more mistakes than usual.  This happens even when she has forgotten that it's Friday the 13th, so it can't be just a psychological thing.  Spooky!!  :twisted:

One major thing that shocked me was on this friday 13th. ~When i was at my friends house and found out something about him. But this could of happened on any other day very easily. Just happened to be friday scouts night. Which come to think of it, we ere late to scouts but i never thought of a signel thing that it was bad luck and that facy thats it the 13th aswell.

But I'll stcik with my veiw of luck. I only consider something to have luck if something was at low odds. Like it was luck when the bus was on time today.

Doesn't affect me in the slightest. I wouldn't have remembered it anyway...
