Dear All,

In conjunction with the organisation DANDA a picnic has been arranged to celebrate Autistic Pride.

This will take place on Sunday the 15th of June at 1pm at the Albert memorial in Hyde Park.

I have just been told that Channel 4 are making a programme about Autistic Pride and will be at the picnic!

So I would urge anyone who can make it to come along.

I hope to see you there!

how did the picnic go?
It went well thanks.
Kate (the producer) filmed bits of the picninc as well as intervieweing a variety of individuals and fliming our signs.

She said she is going to investigate going to the US (money permitting!) to speak to ASAN and maybe contact Amanda Baggs and Kassiane Sibley to see if they would be interested in being interviewed.
Yeh the picnic + filming was great. I was pleased to find out that Kate was anti Autism Speaks. I got to have a *** about them on camera Smile
