IB stands for International Baccalaureate. For more info on specifics, see ibo.org
Anyway, in high school I was in the IB program, and I received my IB diploma 2 years ago.
I'm just kind of curious if anyone else has shad the experience...what did/do you think of it? did you finish it? What was your extended essay about? What were your HLs and SLs?
I HLed in bio, English, and music, and SLed in psychology, math studies, and French. The psychology class was a joke, all I remember from that was the teacher sticking a soda can in her mouth (she had a BIG mouth) and watching Memento. Somehow I managed to pull off a 4 still, if I remember correctly. And 2 years later I'm still kicking myself for only getting a 6 in bio
In a way I kind of miss it, but in other ways I don't. It was worth it because I got 30 credit hours from it at the university I go to now, but on the other hand, 15 of those hours were for French, and so far I haven't done a single thing with French. And to think, I started with a full year's credit, then I've been at the university for 2 years, and I've got at least another 3 years to go...
