(I say this as a serious, serious Gamer)
jesus, you get that mad over getting killed in a game?
I would recommend you reassess how you react when you die. you'll respawn in a second, and its only a bleeding point.
(I say this as an aspie)
it is quite concerning that you attacked the cat. I dont know what you can do you make it up.
worried about trolling - I don't know about you all but I only just learned what teabagging is in american slang and um do tehy do that in a vid game?
Learning anger management is important for very person . Also video games can be an obsession for kids and any kid that acted out in that way after or beacsue of playing a game - should nver be allowed to play it again. Try that for a start of showing remorse. NO the aspergers - if in fact he is one - had nothing at all to do with something so aggregious/anger or getting too immersed in a fake game. Psychological counseling is in order. AND right now - I think this thread should be closed.. i am reporting it to a mod
DNFTT
teabagging == crouching over and over on another players corpse.
its a behavior exhibited in Halo, mostly, which is a ***, medicore game for the 360.
Am I the only person who wonders why a brick was in the vicinity of someone playing on a 360? I thought I was messy....
meh. I prefer Rats, to be honest.
yeah, i'll go with Silky and Quickduck; you have an anger management problem.
you are currently externalising the anger, which is uh, only slightly healther than internalising.
you might want to, I dont know, take up martial arts or w/e...? my anger management sucks.
/drunk.
I wouldn't say you're "disturbed", just maybe you need to handle your anger better? I don't see your harming the cat as your original intention, just that you were angry and that's how you handled it, possibly without considering what you were doing or the consequences.
But, if you feel like you're "disturbed", then do something about it?
Well, that will help the cat....
When my kids hurt eachother unintentionally they still offer and expect an appology.
What if it wasn't a cat, but pure out of a reflex, the toddler from next door on her tricycle. Would you expect the neighbour to say: "Oh it doesn't matter, I assume you didn't do it intentionally."?
In all seriousness, that sounds like something my ex would have done. She had
severe anger issues - last time I saw her in 2006, she grabbed me by the throat and had me up against a wall. Anger just gets progressively worse if you don't deal with it, and I don't see having AS as an excuse if you
know you have problems with frustration. I've had a really bad couple of weeks but I'd rather stim in a corner than lash out at someone else. The other day I had a full scale meltdown in my flat. It was scary as I've never had a proper meltdown on my own, ever, but it was probably better to meltdown. Today's been one of those days as well - I've had various little meltdowns today, and one large-ish one. I don't believe anger is automatically easily managed; however how you choose to let it present itself can be.
In the style of Pikajedi's post though...

Throwing a controller at the wall? £30. Screaming obscenties at your character? £70 fine for breach. Killing a cat with a brick over a ***, overrated, pubescent boy-loved game like Halo?........ Worthless.
Seriously, what are you, a Live! noob? Teabagging is about the only thing Halo is good for, hence why its enjoyed solely by 14 year old boys - and my 20 something year old guy mates... who probably did the teabagging.
Incidentally, Unreal Tournament has been wiping the pissed over, grubby, stained male toilet floor with Halo for a long time.

If you're for real, get some anger management before you end up chucking a brick at a human. What would you have done if it was a kid walking past?
[/Aspie]
No worries atypical - just had to get in a criticism of Halo though

no, I concurr with Atypical and Lestat; this is suspicious.
perhaps someone trying to smear us?
What about the thread about benefits of diagnosis?
especially those of you bearing the Activist logo.
you Represent AFF with the Activist mark. watch what you say.
Whiskey, actually; Bushmills 10 year. 's got a nice flavour, not too rough, and the afterflavour is nice.
For those saying that an aspie would not typically do something like that i just thought i should mention i am autistic, i don't have aspergers. Still from what you are saying that is no excuse, i feel terrible that i could do such a thing. I am going to take your advice and seek the help of a professional.
Yes yes, very clever.
I call troll - this seems too targeted to be accidentally controversial after the last post.
Thread locked.
good for you!
Oops, you just got in before I posted! *grins*
Looks like it's not obvious, but the main reason for the troll call is that he and ElectricSheep_GALATICSTARCHILD turned up tonight at the same time, and they've been tagteaming their posts - for example, see the first two in this thread...
