Allways looking for a place to be alone. Not understood by most of the people. Having a vocabulary of his own. And sometimes even a meltdown. I don't know. But I'm thinking more and more he fits all the criteria of an aspie.
It might scare of non christians though. So maybe some-one else would be better. And I'd love it if it was a female.

I think many neurotypical christian evangelicals would be offended by this.

I really like Ocampo's idea of Guan Yin as our patron. Not only does she represent mercy/compassion/aid, but, according to Wikipedia, "She is also seen as the champion of the unfortunate, the sick, the disabled, the poor, and those in trouble." It seems like most of use fall under at least one of those categories frequently enough.

EnglishLulu – I respect your wish not to be involved with religion, but I don't quite follow your logic. There are plenty of patron saints already existing – for example, Joan of Arc is the patron saint of soldiers, and as mentioned before, St. Isidore is the patron of the Internet. However, just because you are using the Internet doesn't mean you are required to believe in Isidore, and being a soldier doesn't require you to pray to Joan of Arc (or anyone). Nobody is saying, "Hey, let's have an invocation to the patron saint of the autism spectrum at the head of the forum" or "Everyone must vote on this!" or "Let's campaign to beatify So-And-So." This is a single thread wherein the subject is being discussed by people to whom it is of interest. It doesn't have to go any farther, and people who aren't into this stuff aren't required to read it.
