Since I have only a 17" CRT and don't want to exceed a resolution of 1024/768, I'd suggest not to post pictures bigger then 800/600, so the whole site wouldn't exceed my screen.

OK, if I'm the last dinosaur using a 17" CRT, forget about it.

Thank you.
Oops, sorry if my pictures are too big!

Being able to post pictures at all is quite an achievement for me, but I'm conscious that I need now to work out how to adjust the size. Smile

I'll look at the resolutions and see if I can work it out...time to learn to do something else on my laptop! Wink
if you are using Photobucket, you can resize them when you upload.

also, is anyone else still running at 8by6? I sometimes forget, not everyone runs at 1680*1280 Tongue

I don't use 8by6, I use 1024/768, but a picture of that resolution expands the whole window too a much wider rate.Sad

If it's tricky adjusting the sizes on your end, it might be easier to adjust them with the inline tags here. Just set the size in the first tag (e.g. [img=400x300]).

Handy trick to remember. It's also good practice to reduce the size of big pictures in replies.

...so, how does one create thumbnails in myBB?
