I was just looking at some small stones my son collected on his way home from kindergarden.
limestone, granite, sandstone, and all kinds of concrete-pieces with embedded stones of all kind.
If these stones could talk, what would they tell?

New Zealand -- a country that is very new in terms of colonisation. Europeans began arriving to settle in 1840. The Maori are the indigeneous race but the country was largely unpopulated in 1840. The Maori population at 1900 was roughly 40 thousand, though their numbers had been depleted due to disease and probably wars (I suppose).

A large rock - this photo at the top of this page shows my favourite beach about 20 minutes drive away. It's known as Cave Rock and it is the edge of a volcano - that came up out of the sea a long time ago.
OK, next time I'll be in NZ you'll take me there.
And your next time in Israel I'll take you to the table-rock on my picture, wich could be found in the popular ramon-crater.
