Think we need some ideas to how we could make AFF more presentable and organized with those few things we can easily do - like making stickified threads that could eg give information of general misconceptions about our stands - this would also be for those who want to give a shot at advocating for neurodiversity, I've seen abit of mud-slinging from those...

You're post is stuck into my thoughts now. I can't really comment now. Way to chaotic in my brain to come up with something constructive. I think it's a good question. The opening page is of course allready giving much good information. I like the new version. But you might be right that it could be more.
Maybe becoming more 'presentable' is possible in 'presenting' ourselves more. e.g. by letters sent by members and signed by members. Not 'presenting' these letters allways as the vision of AFF, but as a vision shared by many members of AFF.
Coming up with something big representing us all is allmost impossible imo, because we all are so different from each other. And it is the difference we are celebrating on AFF. There are a lot of subjects were there's no consensus of all members. The introduction on the opening page is what is inviting I think.
I said stickified threads cuz I know there's been alot of work into the opening page lately.

This is very sensible. I think that it would also be of benefit to impose restrictions on posters who troll.
An Internet troll, or simply troll in Internet slang, is someone who posts controversial and usually irrelevant or off-topic messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum or chat room, with the intention of baiting other users into an emotional response[1] or to generally disrupt normal on-topic discussion.
This is just an idea, but other forums have this, and if we all worked to the same rules then the forum would improve in quality.
posts off topic or with foul languange would be deleted or somehow it would be known not to "play" there - and if someone does mess with a thread - they would be temp banned or something and then the mods would delete?
I think this forum allows deletion of posts, so this is technologcally feasible.
I think we need to resurrect the wiki. For the casual visitor, it's a much better source of information(either that or start a new wiki, but it seems a shame to lose the data in the old one)
Gareth still has a the wiki, he just needed someone who knew, I think it was PHP....

Paging Gareth to thread 13145. Gareth, Please come to thread 13145

Maybe just take away all the background noise noise in the logo.
I have a necklcae my husband had made for me with the - pika what did you call that math symbol?
Infinity sign? Mobius strip? Sideways 8?
Not really, the wiki on aspiesforfreedom.org has been online for quite some time.
Mobius strip - thank you - I had forgottne the word I thought I had mearned! I thought it was you pika that "schooled me" on that term - a couple of weeks back. I don't remember learning it before. I like the AFF logo, the AFF name, I looked up AFF on google and got a single or swinger web site among others...
Aspies for sexual liberation?
Why fool ourselves that the forum is ever going to be subject to quality moderation?
People will continue to swear, troll other's thread, troll their own threads and flame each other, and the moderation will do nothing to stop it because they ARE IT.
I see only one person trolling here
As for AFF on google, AFF also stands for "Adult Friend Finder" aside from "Aspies for freedom". The other AFF seems to be a random singles site.
I see only one person trolling here
Well, if you cannot beat them, join them.
Oh, you were not referring to me were you?
At least I have now made the desicion to sink to the lowest common denominator, make irrelevant posts and embrace relativism. I would have thought that you would be delighted - I am fluffy!
