Pretty well rounded...great job!
Doyou want people to fill this in and send it back to you? Are you conducting research for studies?
filled it in; there are some questions which are actually two questions, and some which could do with a "depends" option.
I am confused as to the motives (so, what's new?

)

This thread is the third. Not exactly a frequent visitor to the site? We are NOT guinea pigs! (Althought guinea pigs ARE cute, like us!

No more studies please - school, college, or Uni
Dunno what "disabled activities" are.
I'm an autistic person who wants to understand better the patterns of how autistics view themselves. I'm not very active on these boards because I prefer AutAdvo and the AutismSpectrumTreehouse. I'm not a student just trying to complete an assignment - I'm not in university, and this is something I chose myself. It's not just to get a good grade or whatever, but to increase the understanding of what it's like to be different.
There was a question that said, "I believe that to be disabled is not necessarily good." I put yes, because there are disabilities that are diseases, so while not all disability is disease (such as autism), there are diseases that fall under disability that are not good. I also couldn't make it put text into those things.

OK, sounds fair - but I suggest that you may learn a lot more by sticking around here!
We don't bite!
And you may well learn the answers to questions you hadn't even realised were questions - and in a great deal more depth than a mere questionnaire could provide.
This place is very friendly, we discuss how ASDs affect all sorts of areas of our lives; which co-morbids are disabling under which conditions; how to get along with the majority non-autistic world while keeping our own identity etc.
Plus a great deal of general silliness for light relief, political discussion/action for seriousness and support/advice for those having it tough. There are some active real-life friendships among members too.
There is a whole new section on the home page which lists the aims of AFF.
So, if you would like to know what it is like for others on the spectrum from teens to grandparents like me, hang around!
