I am currently training to be a teacher of 3-7 year olds. I am on my last school placement and teaching 7 year olds.
I discovered that I had asperger syndrome through a self diagnosis about 6 months ago while on the course. I think that if I had known this before I may not have done the course or at least would of come into the course with a different attitude. It is what I've always wanted to do however.
I am struggling with this last placement specificly in terms of my communication and relationships with the TA's in the school and wanted to know if anyone could give me any advice on what I could do to help to improve this. Otherwise it may be possible that I will fail the course, all that hard work for nothing.
I have got 6 weeks to go in school and then I will be qualified, not sure how I will ever get a job though.[/font]
