Not a game no, just a big generic 3D virtual world which can be used for pretty much anything.

Did you design the programme yourself? - sorry I am a bit dim with understanding computer programmes.

The client is the second life client, the server is a modified version of opensim (http://opensimulator.org) - a project I used to be on back in the early days.

My mind boggles, too complex for my mind.

what can you do in it?

is it like a social utiliy and etc?

and if so how do I "enter" it??

cos I wanted to join that Second life thing but im under 18

...speaking of second life, is it JUST me that it craps out on? it will not work on this machine, perhaps it doesnt like being threaded?

I think SL allows minors to play just that they have a separate world for them where stuff is censored. Even so, I'd try out Gareth's world.

Sadly we also have to restrict minors on litesim - the reason being that to do otherwise requires very careful seperation of any potential adult content. For example, you may be in one region that is PG, while directly bordering one that is mature. By allowing you to see the mature region we'd be guilty of distributing potentially adult content to a minor.

as for gareth's world can you make a secon done for minors only?

2 - you don't have to pay unless you want to own land

For teen SL you need a parent's credit card to verify ID I believe
