Isnt pie so beautiful... i think it is!
The record for the recitation of Pi is by Daniel tammet, in 5 hours 9 minutes... he recited pi to 22,514 decimal places.
He got breaks... in them he ate bananas and water and chocolate
I like Pi day - on March 14th 3-14
There once was a number Pi
Very special like e and phi
Circumference to d
Is the ratio for me
And it's not a multiple of i
3.15159
Oh when I took Trig in Precalc I'd leave class so hungry because we'd be talking about pi...which lead to pie...and yeah...it was right before lunch...

I've always celebrated PI day on 22/7...
I have a tradition of baking a pie and taking it into work on the day. A square pie, of course, because pie are squared... *grins*
I remember Pi*r^squared fraternity in college. It was a joke!
A good one though...Is it still around?

Yes that was very cool. I've only memorized it to 100 places, forward and backward. I was thinking about trying 1,000 places.
OOOOoooooooo!!! I love this number. Before I became such a recluse, I went regularly to the University computer lab. I used their
Mathematica software to attempt to determine if
pi has a strange attractor (other than me

). Never got to complete it though - unfinished
pi: what a tragety.

MATHEMATICA!!! I love plotting attractors! What's mathematica like? Wolfram software! *obsesses
mhmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm complex numbers...the ONLY part of Honors Algebra II I got an A on

B"H
What about the numbers that are not so discussed, like the Fibonacci sequence, Phi, e, or Gamma?
What is it about Pi that people love to memorize it? I think that it is cool, mind you, but there are also other odd numbers out there. I'd love a discussion of them too!
Well, in any case, here is something cool art work related to Pi. Enjoy it!:

All the best.
as is Pasquale's Triangle
