Here at AFF we have a more autism friendly idea- a sponsored stim!  :wink:

At any time or date any of our members can retreat to their bedroom and partake in this sponsored stim....no forms need to be filled in...no T-shirts need to be bought...we dont need to all gather and parade around to get attention, just relax and enjoy ourselves.  

Dont worry if you dont actually raise any money with your stimming, we dont want to cure anything anyway! We like who we are, get the picture CAN?

Well I prefer walking myself, and regularly go for those ten mile (plus) hikes that NT's seem to see as a challenge (and I do it purely for pleasure).

I guess they must be handicapped if even financial backing leaves them still struggling to cover such a pifffling distance?

I'm the exact opposite. I'd rather stim than walk and I can't walk two miles without getting exhausted and wanting to turn around. I'm SO glad I quit Girl Scouts!

I like to walk AND stim. Hows about that for talent?  

Bah, I had like an idea this earlier.... I shoulda posted.. NOO! Oh well. I saw we block the route.... and sit there... unless they move and don't stop of which we'll walk in the crowd until we in the front again and stop 'em again until the police arrive to disperse us peacefully or arrest us screaming and kicking while being dragged away.

I liek this idea, particularly with some coverage.  Earlier I suggested bringing a camcorder or soem such to a protest, that idea would work particulary well here.  Using Psycho's idea to physically obstruct the path, we are likely to get a very nice response (i.e. they will probably loose it), which would play very nicely if someone were hiding in the background with a video camera, and maybe a couple cops on hand in case CAN looses their collective grip (or, more so than usual).  We make copies of the tape, distribute it to a couple of sympathetic news services (if such can be found), and then we sit back and watch the fireworks.
