Anyone else find they become a lot more sociable on AFF?

What about with the PMs--I seem to PM people a lot, more than most members on here, while it seems a lot of you only PM unless you've been PMed first.

Any other frequent PM users here?
I use to PM a lot...so much so, I barely had time to post on the forum.
After a while I couldn’t keep up with my PMs.

But (luckily) I’ve managed to upset most of the people I use to PMRolleyes; and so now I only PM one person regularly and a few others occasionally.

I do like Pming though…Cool
It gives you the chance to really get to know someone, become friends and share personal stuff. I like being able to do this as I don’t really have any real life friends.

I am not great at correspondence-here or in real life.

Quickduck-it's hard to imagine you upsetting anyone here-as you are a most fair-minded, thoughtful person in your posts... ( with matching pics)
:)

(wishes batman would PM her sometime)
- only if he wanted to - afterall I am just a boring, supposedly NT,  37 year old married 14 years, mother to three kids and a dog

too funny
lol atypical you are a good pm'er
Rosetta - you were only the 3rd person to PM me... two of them were today funny enough....
I pm here extremely rarely.

I must admit I'm not that good at correspondence either. Poor spelling, grammar and endless editing, means a decent size PM can take me all evening. But I do like chatting with my friends.
And of course you're one of my Mahler5--I love talking to you.
In some ways it's good that you're "not great at correspondence"...if you were I doubt I'd be able to keep up. Wink
The first person I ever PMed was tenaciouscj.

I PM when I'm PMed to... like a good Victorian child Wink
Most of the PMs I get are from people I don't recognize (i.e., it's like they never post on the forums but create an account just to send me a message). I don't do too much private messaging in general, but when they are from people I've never heard of it makes me feel somewhat uncomfortable, so I just tend to not reply to them. I've received at least seven messages like that in the past six months.
I do find I am a lot more socialible here than IRL.

oh and PMs?

600+ on Pikajedi3, just coming up to 500 on this one.
total number of AFF e-mails; coming up to 11k.

Now here's someone I'd never be able to keep up with in a PM conversation.Tongue
By the time I'd written three sentances...you'd have written three books, published and printed in paperback...and won several literary awards. Smile

LOL QD - I've been typing away a reply to Tigger for the past 5 hours, I keep getting distracted by this website Wink

Somebody did that to me once, I found it incredibly bizarre.  It was from some guy who saw my post about the "hollow earth theory"--shambala--and he said he was interested in taking a trek through the cave system in Kentucky, or something like that.  I guess someone who wants to be an explorer.  He said "maybe one day you'll hear about me," that was neat.
