Recently I tried joining a few other forums that discuss various things I'm interested in; but I found the sites either less welcoming, less active (i.e. nobody logs on for days) or full of loud month self opinionated people.
So I was wondering…is anyone a member of a non-aspie forum they find useful?
I found this non-aspie site a while back…

It’s run by Andy Hamilton and his brother Dave.
I use to work with Andy before he went off the University. Since then he’s written a book and started this website.
Prior to going away to university, Mr Hamilton ‘borrowed’ my tent and hasn’t returned it yet (that was nearly six years ago!)

yes. I enjoy some forums about my special interests.
Oh well there's the Old appliance/electronics collectors forum..
My Galactic Empire roleplaying org ;p
Uhh..I sometimes join a gaming or popular culture forum.
I don't join many forums nowerdays, can't be arsed with it, truth be told I only stay with this one because I talk to maybe...4 people, 2 of which have msn.
I'm active on one other forum -- related to enneagram, my current special interest.
Several, but most I don't post in any more.
If I count them, there's about 10 or so.
I occasionally visit SheroesCentral, which was co-founded by one of my favorite authors, Tamora Pierce, but I don't go there very often. I visit a Druidry forum about once a week (it's pretty inactive), to talk to other people about that stuff, since no one else really believes in it where I live.

I'm active on 1 other forum. It deals specifically with Crimes in Sweden and I'm in the process of composing a thread on crimes against animals; from neglect to abuse.
the xkcd fora are quite interesting(they're actually thinking about an equivalent of autfinity except theirs is called xkcdia)
I was abit on Lancersreactor a long time ago related to modding a PC game, back when the site looked alot different than it does now - Comparing the current site to how it looked like in the old days I would say that the old one was a community while the new one is not.

Ah, if you have the time, could you give me an idea of your belief in Druidry, what does that entail, etc
People who regularly post on a forum give that site it's character and culture; as a result some sites are more welcoming than others.
Lack of information, as well as existing group dynamics and in-jokes can make it hard to get involved on a site.
i go to this one graphics forum a lot called "SignatureBar" and, i'd have to say, there are a lot of friendly people there and it's pretty popular. if you wanna check it out,
if you join, i'm Kazuto (like always ^^)
My friend loaned me a stack of Motley Fool newsletters when I was wringing my hands about how to make elections for my 401K. I'm afraid I still don't understand that stuff well enough. I'm sure they give good advice. But they keep confusing me because they say certain choices would be "foolish", meaning "good".
Don't they usually write "Foolish" with a capital F?
