Anyway... just do whatever feels right. Talking helps... don't get into feeling like you have to do the flirting thing, because then you're becoming someone you're not. And I find most decent guys appreciate a girl that they can talk to, as opposed to one that sits and giggles like a Barbie doll at everything they say. Chewing pigtails coyly is so 1952

Where did you get the idea that Fruitcake was a gay male?

Korrigan spits out her pigtail and looks innocently away, not thinking of Ian....LOL!
I have hair extensions though I have no-one to AFFlirt with... nomnomnom anyway

Well, HMM.
His name is FRUITcake.
"Fruit" can mean "gay".

You say HIS! I think Fruitcake is a girl. She was commenting about the guy not being able to take girls home. But I am not completely sure, I admit.

Text messages can be difficult to some people. I think that Bella's suggestion of a movie is a good one. I also have always liked coffee shops. Even if you do not drink coffee, you can get tea or something else, and sit and talk.
I realized, later, on the way home on the bus, that my statement may have sounded harsh. I meant it in more of a protective way, and it was said because you mentioned that he is busy at the moment, and I was thinking:
1) Be careful, he may have been feeling rather uninhibited at the time and was a bit more "friendly" than he would have been if sober. This could cause him to be embarrassed later, and that could be why he seems busy at the moment.
2) He could also have been trying to get laid. Which sounds so harsh, but this is entirely possible. Boys will be boys, men will be men. (By the way, this is not limited to the male sex on a regular basis, had this been a male straight guy posting, I would have said, women will be women, girls will be girls, but that does not apply here.)
If he is worth his weight he will be responsive to you and you two will work out a way to communicate, and a comfortable place for a date.
Lots of good thoughts there. I also like the idea of a movie, if only because I love films and miss having people to go with buts the pressure of me communicating all night.
We will see I am letting him get on with his work, I'll text him over the weekend.
I thought you were! (a straight girl that is...)
Let us know how it goes! Good luck!
Don't know...at work, can't look at the youtube stuff. Sorry dear!
