To the parents on this forum, I want to sound a resounding "thank you." You have made an excellent choice to have children, love them, and to give them all that you have. You have made a choice that goes beyond selfishness.
To be honest, I have never had children. Therefore, I have a sense of awe at your dedication, and pray that it be mine. I do not have much to say other than that. My last word to you is; please do not give up. Never, ever, ever give up.

Again - you give a good message - "don't ever give up on your children". I was told by members of the mental health profession to give up on my son. They told me to turn him out of his home.
Ignorance from people whose job it is to care. So sad.
Anyway - my son brings me joy.

"Never Give Up" is something my son tells himself all the time. In fact it's posted up in his karate dojo. I had never planned on being a mom, but it has truly changed my life for the better
