From a motorsport fan Indy Racing League doesn't have a strong following in the USA, NASCAR does. Bear that in mind

In fact , It's a low ranking team that may have a high tec backer but hardly giving its self good publicity this year. A little bit of an overreaction on your part
it's still someone to boycott....

p.s leo: why are you posting as guest again?

Let's just say that I'm a mixture of badly fighting temptation/ can't be bothered to sign in Gareth and I just "happened to be in the neighbourhood". Btw it could be worse, They could be advertising tobacco.
Email campaign? What do we email them with?
ethical concerns
general queries

make them question themselves
Ok I am normally the last person who would post something like this and I'm probably going to kick myself for it badly later but what the ****

http://www.brandonwhitt.com/about.html

Brandon Whitt's a driver in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck series which for those of you who aren't motorsport fans is the the third rung below the NASCAR Nextel Cup which is the premier league in stock car racing. Seems like a decent guy unfortunately he's co-sponsored by CAN along with Hillman care.

Try not to be too rough on him please. Although I've got an alternate plan that might be of worth that is if you are interested....
Alternate plan?
So is it possible to sponsor these people? Or is it that they would carry a name for free to help out?
Ah my apologies for not being precise earlier the link I gave was ment to be a sort off tip-off for you guys to decide what do next. Due to my past history I know I am unoficially (maybe even officially) 100% persona non gratia around here so I feel I'm going out on a limb when I do this kind of stuff.

Anyway there are a number of options open to you but all of them involve sponsorship of some kind ie paying.

You could try advertising or partially sponsoring a team. From what I know quite a few of these events are streamed and it hits your target audience: I.E people in the US that's because CAN and NAAR originate from and have most (if not nearly all) of their members.

Here's a league you could sponsor with various levels of coverage given according to how much AFF or any person is prepared to pay:

There are a quite a few other teams and leagues around and other games do have professional competitions but consider this a start:  8)

By the way for the direct activists among you all (Whoever's up there why do I get the feeling I'm doing the equivalent of unleashing trained dobermans ?! :-(  ) Brandon Whitt's site does have a forum so you may want to post a complaint there.

Personally if you do post I hope you aren't too nasty about it but that's another matter. Added to that like I said I am persona non gratia around here.

However I've got enough confidence in my idea that if you say you're interested when I get my allowance I'll put a level of sponsorship in.
