My cat is microchipped with an ID number.  They would know she is Chloe, my cat, and that Chris Marsh is looking for her.

Pets used to go to heaven... until they started microchipping them.
I was watching the National Geographic Channel's version of The World Without Us.  Depiction of a little curly brown haired dog being chased and (simulated) eaten by a pack of large dogs (dropped collar) (No animals were harmed in the making of this film, but very poignant). I taped it to DVD. (April 13 2008)  (I figured cats would simply climb a tree)

Then I taped the thing on the Human (American) Footprint immediately following.
I am sure stray dogs and cats know when the Trap-Neuter-Adopt people are around, and are willing to be trapped to find a good home
Dad went with cremation on the grounds of practicality.  I presume Mom wanted to be next to Dad so I did her that way too.  I think I'd do it too after my organs are removed for donation.  Hey maybe they will burn me up for free.  Ya think?

I suppose it saves space...?

If they dump your ashes in a river, that saves on burial too.......   I think those funeral services are getting big and bloated on people's misery anyways.
Lately I have really hated fur myself.  I received fur or fake fur a friend tossed out (it would look like fur, like a panda).  Now I want to toss it out.

I have even begun to HATE leather.  Mom bought me one wool-sleeved leather jacket and (by verbal instruction with her credit card asked me to buy myself when she was in a nursing home in the last weeks of her life) a leather trench coat.  I will keep those out of sheer respect for Mom.

Mental note: buy trench coat that is synthetic.

But I prefer, depending on weather, fleece, for lighter days, for example, a Redskins fleece light jacket, or for cold winter days, a heavy winter coat (not sure what synthetic it is, Gore Tex or what), I have a synthetic scarf
SPAY AND NEUTER DOGS AND CATS!
DO NOT BUY OR BREED DOGS AND CATS, ADOPT TRAPPED-NEUTERED FROM A SHELTER!
Slogan I'd write for PETA: the only fur I have at home is on my cat!
PETA:  Where only women are treated like meat.

I dislike using Revolution on the cat, but it kills fleas, ear mites, mosquitos, roundworm, everything but ticks.

Some people don't like using chemicals on their pets, but they hate fleas worse, and fleas can spread plague and stuff.
I can't give up my carnivorous ways, cheeseburger in paradise

For twenty some years, I had a friend who fed me, cleaned my box, played with me, gave me company in good times and bad, and who loved me despite my MANY faults, and no matter how rotten, weird, or disgusting I was, or how often I sneezed, or how often I threw up.  I hope that human gets another cat.

I oppose PETA so long as their protesters persist in using pasties!
I am afraid to get to close to spiders.  There are two species in North America dangerous to humans

1.  The Black Window (related to the dunny can spider of Australia, I think, distinctive markings and venomous), but sticks to its Web and does not attack unless provoked - Red hourglass shape under abdomen

2.  The Brown Recluse Spider (brown violin shape on abdomen), does not use a web, prowls for prey, and its bites can become ulcerated, more dangerous because of where it might be wandering and want it might get into

But I am sure there are thousands of species of spiders not dangerous to humans in the US and Canada
