Nah, sounds too much like "dudette" for me. I refer myself to as an Asperger or Autistic, but aspie does sound more informal. Hooray for new words!
I have to admit the word 'asperger' is very crude. Aspie's pretty cool. As for Aspiette I'm suprised noone thought of it sooner. It would be quite amusing for an informed person to hear someone being reffered as an aspiette. I wonder what their guess would be?
Oh for pity's sake. You wouldn't come up with a different word for black or asian aspies, why do women have to be marginalised like this?
you know what my brother calls us to piss me off?
"autists" >.<
I had that word in mind, too. I googled it to make sure it wasn't already invented, and I then discovered this site. You made the word first, so you get the credit. :groupjump:

Yes, and why give us a diminuitive suffix?
I'm with you two, keep it simple and all inclusive we don't need to create more minorities.
you get a few extra letters and us male aspies don't

not fair
from now on i am an aspieaaaaa!
you're an aspie falling off a cliff?
i actually like that word. it specifies gender.
