if any of you watch this anime, does L (Ryuzaki) act almost autistically or like an Aspie? his sitting position is quite odd, quiet when he talks, and is very smart. what do you think?
I totally about to make a topic about this, although I think Near's behavior is more autistic (obsessively building things, acting out scenarios with his toys, etc.) But the idea of an obsessively brilliant recluse fits extremely well with an aspie or autistic savant.
"If you keep my secret I will give you this cherry."
okay, if you've seen this week's episode of Death Note, L DIES! omg, i am mad right now!!!
Oh, you're following the English cartoon? I watched it to the end in subbed Japanese. When you meet Near, see how well his behavior matches with AS or autism.
Also you might want to watch the movie, in which L wins.
Yeah it's really sad to see him go.
i've seen the full first movie and am going to watch the second movie one of these days... also, my friend said after L died, DN's ratings and viewers, so his death was pretty harsh. i might one day dress up like him at school just for fun (don't think dressing up as him is considered a "costume" because he wears such plain clothes)... ^^
I love Death Note, however there were a lot of mistakes made in the plot that would have ruined Death Note if it wasn't so awesome. The film has a much better ending.
I also thought that L was Autistic while watching it. His posture and his obsessive tendency towards sweets were both clear signs.
