If anyone would enjoy viewing them, I just uploaded images of my antique valentine collection.  It has been on public exhibit a couple times.

Mostly postcards from around the year 1900 to 1913, made in Germany where the printing was best.  Some of them were painted on silk.  The illustrations of cars and telephones were exhibiting the new inventions of the time. I also included a few other holiday cards.

Alas, the scan and upload process has degraded the image quality quite a bit.

Oh my Silky, I could not imagine having such beautiful things.  Wow!
Thank you Korrigan. I'm so glad you liked it Smile

After uploading about 80 of those cards, I got tired of uploading LOL.  As you can tell, my obsession was cherubs and doves.  I also like the glittery gold ink accents which you can't see sparkle from scans.

I have a lot of romantic ephemera. Later I might attempt to add a beautiful marriage license from the 1800s. It is engraved with the bridal couple standing in a boat being pulled by swans and surrounded by angels. It is about 20" tall though. Too big for my scanner.
