Get word around. I think there needs to be a counter protest. Generation Rescue definitely believes that Autism is caused by vaccines and is a disease and not a genetic condition. They must be shown that they are being divisive and bigoted against a culture that has benefitted mankind for longer than their precious thiomersal has been around.

What could McCarthy do when faced with a group of Aspies with lives (whatever they are) who calmly inform her that they are on the Spectrum and proud of it, and politely ask her to stop delaying the real understanding of Autism.

She'll blow her stack, come out with a stream of abuse - right in front of her precious cameras - and all we have to do is keep our cool, and maybe laugh at her.

Who'd end up getting the bad press then?

I've got an idea - break up McCarthy and Carrey, make sure (yep, this name again) John Best Junior gets a divorce, and have Jenny marry John.

Here's an interesting one for you in response to that, Lili. I understand that jaws like that in a woman give away one of two things.

1. A previous life as a man (ie transexual)
2. Use of steroids

In the case of McCarthy number 2 makes sense because she did hang around with pro wrestlers when steroid use was unfortunately rife in the mid 1990's (see Wrestlemania 11).

If it wasn't for the fact that I knew it was a myth - I'd call McCarthy's performance on Larry King Roid Rage!!

That's why people like Bob, myself and other parties are angry. People who are as stupid as McCarthy don't understand civility. And yet she has the automatic bonus points of "celebrity".

At present - she is the only person being heard, because she shouts down the opposition and IS ALLOWED TO.

That's what you are proposing in effect - to let her control the issue in the eyes of the media. If we don't respond in anger we'll be seen as unimportant and not worth defending.

Mudslinging creates news. We'll get ignored by the mainstream media otherwise because there's no sensationalism in it. Why do you think McCarthy is getting publicity? Pacifist PR will not work - that's for cowards who don't have the stomach to fight. One has to get tough, and unfeeling.

I can answer that. He is against us fighting for our rights. The reason is because he makes no secret of the fact that he has "conquered his Aspergers". I know for a fact that he hasn't - he hasn't suffered the extreme prejudice from the NT world yet, but he will. It's inevitable. But he won't listen to those who know.

So bluntly I wouldn't bother with him. Beyond his own experience (which is comparitively limited) he knows nothing in the practical sense.

Then why is the media listening to it, huh? They would be ignoring it if you were right. But they aren't - they love it! So you are wrong. They roll in the mud because they get attention while doing it.
