I didn't realize the day until I read this. I don't really expect much else offline, but that's the best way to get fooled.

The Giant across the street was closed for four hours when the union had a meeting. Apparently it was for real- not an April fool.
WTOP news radio warned of two April fools.....
1. Blue screen on death..... is not a crash in progress, is a screen saver
2. If your mouse (optical laser mouse) doesn't work, see if someone put black (electrical) tape on the laser lens.
The metal ring from a ballpoint pen (old fashioned) coincidentally used to fit into our lockers (took me a while to realize I was jammed with one of those in HS, that was, hmmmmm, 20 years ago)
I was looking for a job on April fools day 1997.... met some protesters in front of the White House..... using April Fool as part of the punch line.

My boss got us a good one this year. He sent an official looking e-mail saying he was going to be on higher duties for a couple of months and we would get a different manager in his place, a lady who is not exactly the most popular with some of the people.
After one rather nervous woman started having conniptions, and a delegation of several others went to see him at his desk, he told us it was an April fool's joke.
