Talking to quickduck and he asked me if I had posted any of my photos, so I thought I would.

I think they look beautiful!

... but I just can't figure out what the glowing stuff by the road is on the top pic.

It must have been a car passing and turning the corner - the photo was a long exposure!

The glowing stuff is a car going by. I had the camera on slow shutter speed, so those were the car headlights/tail-lights.

I liked the two last photos especially the moonlit photo without colour

The first photo seems to contrast busy and calm.
While the photo of the sun has a beautiful crispness about it--a sort of  zen-like quality.
The moon pic is ghostly and atmospheric; where as the reflections in the water, the rich colours and detail in the last photo are just amazing!

Thanks Lucie. Whenever I look at that moonlit photo I think it is a romantic moment between those two plants, the just-about-to-kiss-movie-moment.

It's interesting the idea of contrasting busy and calm in the first photo. I hadn't seen that, but I do see what you mean.  For me the manhole and the road lines are what I notice first in that photo.

Well actually, that second photo is not a sun, it's a moon.  It was taken at the same time as the first photo. I was messing around with the camera at night and I actually liked that the moon came out looking like an early morning sun.

Thanks quickduck.  Out of this bunch of photos, the moon with the plants is actually my favourite... it seems to have a calming feel and reminds me of standing outside watching the moon.

I love the photo's! They're beautiful, I especially like the last one, it seems so calm...

That pool reminds me of the one in 'Ten Canoes' that is the origin of all life for the tribe. It seems very ancient and holy.

I just thought the lighting in the first photo was brilliant.

This is a picture of me holding up an autumn leaf in my front garden.

Do you like black and white photos over colour ones? Just curious..
