I cooked curry on Thurs and four days later our place still smells of curry.  Is there any good way to get rid of the curry smell fast or a way to cook the curry that does not make it smell so much.  Will using a slow cooker help?

I hung up some shirts to dry and my husband told me that I had to wash them all again because they smelled like curry.   I do shut door that I can and also turn on the fan over the cooker.  I just hate those "open concept living spaces".  They are for people who don't cook fish or curry.  I need a door on my kitchen but it makes it too hot to work in there.
Maybe put less curry in the curries? I also think if your husband didn't like how the shirts were washed, he should have redone them himself. It's a bit much expecting you to cook AND to re-wash clean shirts. I read somewhere that putting a cut onion in a bowl and having it in the kitchen would help with the smell but perhaps one of the other readers will be able to confirm or refute this?
Yep, a cut onion or some vinegar in a bowl are supposed to get rid of smells, although I think you just end up with a smell of onion or vinegar! Sad  Depends which you prefer, I suppose! Wink
