I started this thread to let everyone know that the Aspergian National Liberation Alliance/ Aspergian Zionist Movement had ceased to existed . I deleted it all because I felt depressed and alienated about it. If the AFF Administrators or Moderators reading this, I would be appreciated if my threads on ANLA and AZM are deleted.
I'm sorry that you felt so bad.
GREAT
BIG
GRANNY HUG!
I don't think that deleting the threads will be feasible, or even desirable - but perhaps locking them would suffice. Zakkie?
Thanks for that Tigger

I posted this elsewhere, and I will post it here. It relates to the opposition to the term "Aspergian Zionism" from certain corners:
"The Nationalism that Nationalists Hate"
http://redneck_rastafarian.tripod.com/national.html
What these people are opposing is not the Zionism of 1948, but the true Zionism of Mt. Sinai. And, I disagree with the author I posted in one respect. I believe that these people are not really "nationalists," rather worshipers of the United Nations and its global tyranny. The UN is the real force behind gun control and the WTO. The real agenda is an attack not only on Israel, but on the American middle class, the Ten Commandments and traditional morality. What will be left over are an elite of the very rich (Bush, Cheney, et al) and the extremely poor who are exploited.
I am sorry about what happened to your organization. I was all for it. Can't it continue, even if just a "majority of one"?
All the best.
Well ATM if you want to start an organisation on creating a cybernation for Aspies, thats fine with me. But I promise you, this idea isn't popular amongst the Autistic community.
OK. Well, I'm not big on separatism. So, it's not really my thing. However, I also believe that if one has an idea that can be used for the good, its unpopularity should not be a deterrent. Again, I am not big on the idea. However, if YOU are, then would it not be wise to stick by your guns? Even if you modify the idea, and make it less separatist and more of a civil rights movement, the concept itself still has the merit of having inspired advances in civil rights for the Aspergian community.
As it is, life is hard. And, frankly, my life is getting to the point that I am wondering if some kind of community within the Federal Union, loyal to its Constitution and Bill of Rights, a State such as Vermont or Oregon, might not be a bad idea.
But, then again, maybe not. It was not my idea to begin with. However, it was yours. Don't sell your dreams so cheaply. A few dissenters should not deter you.
All the best.
Joel,
I am curious as to why you are stopping your efforts so quickly.
Because I know that will lead to separatism and it wouldn't do well for the rights for Aspergic and Autistic people.

I don't think a cyper-nation would increase separatism - I thought it was an absolutely marvelous idea - really super. The only trouble was the word ZIon - it brings out confusion in people.
Joel,
I was going to post on the other thread - It just popped up - but as you made it clear you wish that thread would stop - I want to say that I know next to nothing about computers - but I can't see how it would matter if you re-thought just the name. You said it would create confusion. I think the word zion makes nmore confusion.. I think everyone would support your cyber nation...and as that is a special interest of yours I feel sad that you did not follow your course...
I think someone on the other thread askeid for what purpose - this cyber -nation? I think the purpose is obviously differt than AFF's or activism - but of course it would be...
I would say that activism is great but a place where people /aspie and some other nuerodiverse peoples could come and just BE and be freinds and hang - not to complain or rail -but to be - would also be cool - it would help with the next step - actually creating a real place - alot of the same people that were cyber-citezens would help...
Atypical, I appreciate your interest in once was my project. I did have second thoughts after I closed down the group. One of the biggest reasons is that I thought is that I had a lot of negative feedback from Aspies for Freedom. But also, I had a lot of feedbacks on how many disappointments that I cancelled my project, so I had thoughts on revitalising my project.
I tell you what Atypical, why don’t we form a new group to create the cybernation. I got a software for my birthday that would create an independent website. First I would start a new thread to hold a poll on whether people want Aspergia to exist or not.
