We have something like 35°C here, and that's only the beginning of summer.
I did a bit of garden-work in the morning; I got up before sunrise for this, but still I was melting away somehow in the early noon.

Well it'll be freezing old Canberra soon enough while England is warm in summer! (I heard it gets even colder there than what Tassie does.)
It's still hot here and it's supposed to be autumn. Mind you, it doesn't usually get very cool until May and we only get 3 months winter. I don't like hot weather but have lived in North Queensland all of my life.
Yes, Rossco lives in Canberra, and he is somebody I would like to meet if ever I am down in that neck of the woods. I am going to Melbourne late next month and if it is possible, it would be good to meet up with anybody who is interested but I must warn you, I am not very good in loud and crowded surroundings.
