Oopsy, I thought this was going to be a thread on the topic of hugging. It sounds like a nice thing you are trying to do morning_after and it seems to be giving smiles to some people. So.. enjoy and welcome to the site.
Hugs terrify me. Not from everyone but from most people. It combines being touched by other people (ick) with having to deal with emotions they want to project and get a reaction to. When I just READ the word "hug" it makes me wince. When it is at the end of a post I'm reading (particularly if directed at me) I feel violated somehow. I know it's very silly of me.
(silky tiptoes out of the thread so everyone can have a good time without her dysfunctional wet blanket.)
