I got a mailing from Autism Speaks (gotta keep an eye on the 'enemy', you know) where they noted that April 2nd is "World Autism Awareness Day".
From the mailing: "Autism Speaks has announced a series of international events to mark the inaugural celebration of World Autism Awareness Day, an unprecedented global effort to heighten awareness about autism. The April 2 events will take place on three continents and in venues ranging from the floor of the New York Stock Exchange to local bookstores and the worldwide web, and are expected to generate significant national and international media coverage."
World Autism Awareness Day (***link broken - Zakkie***) site.
What can *we* do to promote the *truth*, and not let AS hog all the publicity?
