hm.watercooled.

mine trumps it though Tongue

Q6600
3GB RAM (max addressable by a 32-bit OS) @7-7-7-12 ( i think...don't quote me on that)
1* 150GB HDD (C:\) @ 10k RPM
1* 1TB HDD    (K:\) @7200 RPM
8800GTS (will be replaced with a nVidia 9800GT when they come out.certainly not the ATi 9800 Tongue)
Razer Tarantula programmable 'board w/light
Razer Lachesis 4000dpi laser mouse
It's a lot better than my computer...

What do you use it for?

normally, i would say sort out your cables for airflow, but that would be irrelevent...

I hope you left the case fans in, or the rest of the Mobo is going to get hot...and you dont want the RAM to get hot, or you are asking for a BSoD
braided cables...well managed PSU...you paid a lot for this when it was new, didnt you...?
also, your rear panel is not properly mated up with the motherboards rear ports.
just wiggle it a bit, it'll clip in.

out of interest, how much did that set up actually cost you, and what kind of framerates do you get out of it? (using things like Half Life 2, Total War, and such as benchmarks).

I get 210 frames in EVE Online on full everything (1680*1050), and no slowdown (noticable) in Supreme Commander on full everything, one monitor, 5* AIx Rush, unit cap; 1000, with all 6000 units in play.

tis nice.

It's not watercooled anymore, the damn processor mount leaked on my V-card, fucked that & the mobo up, v-card was warranty'd but mobo wasn't, changed it.  I dont have as many cables anymore either now that the water systems out.

I used to be into gaming but not as much anymore

I prolly paid a little more then 3 gran, I dont remember the benchmark tests for half-life 2, its been a long time.

hot damn.
and here I am with my little £700 system that stomps the crap out of anything on the market....
do need to get me some watercooling though...

my specs, let me show you them; (5.9 is the top of the chart)

My comp suffices ;p

although i'm quite fond of the glowing, very Shinra.
"and yeah lan parties rule"

I went to a mates one once, what a load of shit.

I had no common ground with the speccy twirts whatsoever.
Yeah.

I can't play shooters.
Oh naff off richard, you don't understand me ;p

get on msn so I can punish you.
My PC's motherboard is pretty funny, according to my bro, and my "IT guy" down the road noticed the same thing..

Seemingly the CPU is actually directly connected to the motherboard or some shit like that, apparently making it virtually impossible to upgrade.

It's a cost cutting exercise apparently, not reccomended for the end-user.
From dmesg on my new server:
Total of 4 processors activated (17068.86 BogoMIPS)
That's pretty cool, but I have plenty of fresh air circulating in my PC now, as I've  got a slightly larger case and the inside temperature has never gone above 28C.

That sounds like the 486 and earlier era. LOL!

In the 2000s, you usually don't have that.
