I'd thought of doing a picture of a man with a loud hailer with a big speech bubble saying autism speaks and with a lot of brown blobs falling off the bubble and puddling on the ground.

Godwin's Law only applies if the person/organisation which you are comparing to Hitler/Nazis DOESN'T have a eugenecist policy. A certain organisation is openly pursuing a genetic test for Autism which has only one plausible use: to detect Autists before they are born and kill them.

Therefore, any comparison with Nazis is fair and reasonable, and Godwin's Law does not apply.

Sorry, TheZach, if you are being sarcastic; I didn't realise we had said anything homophobic. There are a lot of gay people besides you in AFF, and homophobia is not tolerated in the least, so I hope you feel comfortable here.

When you say that drawing insulting Autism Speaks logos doesn't advance our cause, you've probably got a point - there's much more productive things that could be done.

However, the manner in which you've been raising this means that you come across as merely obnoxious, and the things you say are dismissed. If you have points, raise them - otherwise, don't bother responding. In fact, I've noticed that your sole activity on this site appears to be insulting people that disagree with you.

The above picture I consider entirely seperate, and a much more serious issue - using "gay" as an insult is at best trollish, at worst, actual bigotry. The dictionary defence doesn't cut it.

In other words, consider this a "Strike One" warning...
