Aspergers and clinical depression/social anxiety. I think I have mild ADHD as well.
These days, officially dx with Aspergers and ADHD.

Previously, I've been "diagnosed" with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, dissociative identity disorder (multiple personalities) and just being a contrary scrag.  Smile
What does "semi-officially" mean, as opposed to "official"
Officially diagnosed with Avoidant Personality Disorder, Borderline Personality Disorder, Generalized Anxiety Disorder and Asperger traits.
I wonder why so many are diagnosed with depression too? I was diagnosed as being emotional stable . Any way the official thing is any way funny since only in the report stands something but they didnt tell me face to face(the report is also not to read for me but I have got it anyway(My mothers works at a hospital so she could just let them send the report there)Maybe they didnt because they noticed that I have no problem with myslef. A x nyway there official diagnosis is aspergers and as differential diagnosis they have
schizoid personality disorder
or familien amnanesemit hinweisen auf psychische stoerungen... has something to do that my biological mother is a hebephrenic schizophrenian or what ever you call that.
Officially diagnosed:

Asperger’s Syndrome
ADHD predominantly inattentive type
Tourrette’s Syndrome

‘Officially’… the bottle in my medicine cabinet says: ‘Take these for ADD’ (I don’t take them), and awhile back, I had something for major depression and anxiety (don’t take those either)…

I tend to interrogate the ‘Officials’ these days. I’ve lost respect for many ‘officials’ (doctors, counselors, psychologists) doling-out DX’s without a clue… Phittttt… if you haven’t experienced ‘it’, how can one possibly know what ‘it’ is like to be me?  Nobody is going to DX me anymore; they’ve screwed it up far too many years for me…And…. it matters not what ‘PhD’ credentials they may state…  Sheesh…. No wonder I get depressed….

So,  I’m a self professed variant of  ‘Somewhere on the spectrum’, as in ASD’s, co-morbid I suspect with ‘scatter-brain-syndrome’ (executive function anomalies -- I’m good at chess, but can’t find my car-keys… ).
I can get very depressed and lay around in bed all day, but can get hyper-focused and accomplish amazing tasks.

Can't get me to remember something boring, like paying the phone bill… Phitttt…

So… ‘Officially’:  ADD….     Phitttt…..

Officially diagnosed with Ankylosing Spondylitis (the 'other' AS!), Migraine Equivalent, Prinzmetal's (Unstable) Angina, Paroxysmal Atrial Fibrillation, Gluten Enteropathy -

Some of these conditions can actually be caused by medications, and not just psych meds, but the others as well. Atrial fibrillation as well as right or left bundle branch blockages can be caused by meds.

Don't become a statistic, become informed.

Asperger's/ avoidant personality
BPII/ hypomanic type
Life.
Hello,

I have both physical and verbal tics, including eye-rolling, coughing, turning my head so my face points upwards, touching the bottom of my shoe with my hand, and spontaneous whole body movements. It is not nearly as bad as it sounds, as it is only triggered by synthetic chemicals in food, and hence avoiding those foods (as I do) eliminates the tics as well. Plus, I feel so much healthier in general after kicking most candy and fast-food Smile.

SSRIs of all things screw up your liver function?  That is not good news for me.

I have AS, and I was an alcohol addict for a couple years.. we're talking hard liquor here, every night..  I just hope that my sobriety has reversed the damage by this point.. seeing as I will be getting a blood test soon and liver function is one of the tests..

I have been sober, essentially, for almost a year.

Anyone have any ideas?

Officially diagnosed with Syringobulbia..otherwise known as Arnold-Chiari malformation. Syringobulbia, PTSD, chronic anxiety, social phobia &  depression...the latter I dispute.

Unofficially AS.
