We invented some words, I liked autiephobic and neurocism the best (neurocism is my word by the way Tongue)

I believe making this thread might encourage people to take advantage of the word(s), also want to try to figure out what you people want the words to mean.
Damn, it doesn't count the percentage and the number of votes the way I wanted.
*bump*

Wrong forum apparently...
I think there is an actual phobia which is the fear of people with learning difficulties.
I think I have it.

Oh no, not more words! My brain is starting to implode!

I believe you can over 1000 already.
Found some quotes I remembered that I would call neurocistic.

DAN! associated Dr. Kartzinel in Jenny McCarthy's book:

Quote:
Autism, as I see it, steals the soul from a child; then, if allowed, relentlessly sucks life’s marrow out of the family members, one by one..

From the article "Hunting the gene that traps children in their own world":

Quote:
The suggestion that the developmental disorder can be triggered by the MMR vaccine has been shown to be scientifically unfounded, but it prompted thousands of parents to agonise over the cruel condition that seems to leave children walled off in a social and emotional world of their own, apparently beyond their love.

They at least show an attitude towards autism that should be past in history.
I'm just not sure we should call it neurocism though.
It's demonizing an essential part of who we are, curebie might a more appropriate term for it though.

Curebie refers to something specific, though - supporting a cure for autism.

Not all curebie's actually hate autistic people - it's often more of a pity thing, or a misguided compassion thing...

So what would you people call those statements?

Wouldn't these things come under the heading of over dramatisation and hyperbole?

I would also call it demonization, Ethel suggested ignorance which seems to have been used alot.
The quotes are kinda similar as to saying autistic people are trapped in their own world, now that the number of votes are 49 the number of votes for that being neurocistic/autiephobic is 7 and the option has the fourth most votes after the third, fourth and last option.
