Phobia refers to both an irrational fear of someone or something as well as an irrational hatred or dislike of someone.

Curebie refers to something specific, though - supporting a cure for autism.

Not all curebie's actually hate autistic people - it's often more of a pity thing, or a misguided compassion thing...

I dont think some parents stop to think that if they take away the autism they take away who their child is. I find that the qualities I love most about my son have to do with his autism. Although some arent so desirable but really who is 100% happy with who they are? I dont think anyone is really "normal". Everyone has something going on.
