This game has been a success on another forum I'm on, so even though I didn't come up with it I thought I'd give it a go here. (although I have altered the rules slightly)

Basically the rules are, somebody posts a theme (such as 'Animals' or 'Songs with more than five of the same letter in the title' or 'Bands that have named their song after themselves') and the next people reply with songs or band names that follow that theme.

eg: 'Animals'

Poster 1: Love Cats- The Cure
Poster 2: Like a Bird- Nelly Furtado
Poster 3: Don't cha- The Pussycat Dolls

And this continues until we get to ten songs/bands that follow the theme. At this point the person who posted the tenth song/band chooses a new theme and we post ten of those instead. Then when that theme gets to ten the person who posted the tenth chooses a new theme- you get the idea.
It is also a good idea to number the replies so that people can easily tell when it gets to ten, and to highlight the part of the song that is relevant to the theme.

You can post three or fewer songs in one go.

First theme: Electronic appliances.

Theme:  Songs that have either the word "animal" or animals in the title

1 - Wynona's Big Brown Beaver - Primus

2 -  Animals - Nickelback

3 - Even Rats by The Slip
