As this is a food related question, I thought I’d put it on this board.
Are there any types of food allergies amongst Aspies that seem to occur more frequently than others?
I'm allergic to fish and cashew nuts.
Apparently it's not normal to be allergic to fish at least among most people.
The reason I ask about the allergies is because Aspies are known to suffer from stomach pains, so I thought certain types of food might exacerbate that and I also thought there might be some food allergies that are more common amongst aspies than others.
I don't think I have any particular food sensitivities (except when it comes to taste)...

Yes, though they are chemical intolerances and not true "allergies" by doctors' definitions. The most common ones are wheat and dairy, also called gluten and casein intolerance. Another related problem is inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). These are common among aspies, though they happen in NTs too.
I had frequent swelling, diarrhea, constipation and stomach aches before learning about it and adjusting my diet. I developed several others (soy, seeds, tree nuts, fruit) but managed to reverse those over time.
I'm not saying how because every time I post such a thing in here, I get blasted from all sides and accused of being a "curebie"... whatever. So I'd love to give you the answer, but it seems people on this forum prefer having medical problems and being sick.

I had a look back through the threads, and no-one called you a curebie. What we did say is that the "treatment" mentioned above has been disproved by studies 14 times over, has no backing from any official medical board, and is occasionally dangerous.
Just to clarify...
Yeah. I reckon have issues with diary, because I have so much of it. It makes me feel bloated and it’s probably not that good for my liver either. I need to give it up.
So, yeah, obviously swallowing diary's would create some issues, but what I really meant to say was I have issues with dairy. Lol.
Um... diarys. I'll give up now. God I hate typos.
