The volunteer spirit has been co-opted by folks who charge an arm and a leg for what you need but at least somebody is trying to fill the needs even if the price is high.

I don't know who the woman is who defended the "mad cow disease" argument. But I know the leaders of that group and that is certainly not how they think. Both of the moms I know have sons in their thirties and have done their best to support them, running up against a horrific wall of ignorance.
