I am taking my ex employer to a tribunal for sexual orientation discrimination. Its the last week they can respond to it before I would get a default judgement and the little pr*ck who was harassing me has just put in his response. Got a copy of it in the post about 15 minutes ago. Which means I'm going to court and I'm going to have to see the little f*ckhead again. And he's so unbelievably arrogant,
I hate him so bloody much.
And I've just found a lump on one of my pet rats, under her arm. So I know its breast cancer as females are really prone to it and its exactly like one of my rats got before
I don't even feel like crying, I feel like screaming and hitting my head off something

Ach thanks Erkolos but I'm a law student so have plenty of legal advice easily accessible. I just can't be bothered with it, I was happily counting down the days hoping it would be a default judgement... oh well, doesn't suprise me, the a*sehole always had to get the last word in at work, makes sense he's still the same.

last time I had to take my old rat to the vet to get put to sleep when the tumour got infected. I think I cried more over her dying than I did my grandmother. Its always been easier when they've just passed away at home, but taking them to the vet is awful. I know I'm doing the best thing but I still feel like I'm killing them

one of my other ones just...died from the midsection down, went cold and black, so I had him put down. and the other one escaped and my cat killed it >:{

one of my rats seemed to be the similar, he lost use of a back leg but he seemed happy enough just working around it, so I left him to it. He was 5 when he died in his sleep. And that sucks re the cat

no, I didnt get any more. it was getting to a point where i barely had anytime to play with them anyway, and i didnt want to get an animal that i might end up neglecting.

One of my rats died unexpectedly a couple of weeks ago and I'm not sure why. I've never had them live more than 3 years and know other people who say the same. The longer lived rats must be from better strains or something eg. lab rats.
Yeah, apparently 3 is really good going for a rat. Ones I've got out of pet stores don't live very long, but ones I've bought from private breeders do.
