My place is lovely, I look out the window to see the largest oil refinery in Canada...

Okay, I lied about it being lovely.

It's been raining here for 3 days and my yard is a soggy mess.  However, this doesnt stop my youngest son from going out back to the swing. Tongue He splashes mud everywhere but at least he's having fun.
Hm...well, it kind of looks like this:

And of course, our idea of local entertainment. Enough said.  (Sarcasm alert Tongue)

Um ... might be time to move, Puckorz?

I live in a burb. It is a "desirable" neighborhood, so I've been told. I've also been told by visiting family that it looks sort of like "Desperate Housewives," though I've never watched the show so I don't know. I want to move to a farm.  Really, really.

Really.

I would move but I lack the funds.

On another note...Farms are awsome, I lived on one for a month...ish. Best time of my life.

Six months ago I moved from vermont

to arizona

I thought I'd hate the strip malls and monochrome of this area, but I love it here!
Perhaps  its a 'park' . Looks like there is a swing and such - perhaps that is the word you want. Smile

The 'plaza' (if you know the right word for it, could you please tell me?)

It's more like it, but not exactly. In Dutch there is this word, 'pleintje' , but I don't think there is such a word in English. But thanks!

Is 'pleintje' a square?  In addition to a shape with four right angles and equal length sides, it is:

an open area or plaza in a city or town, formed by the meeting or intersecting of two or more streets and often planted with grass, trees, etc., in the center.

Pleintje was used this way in on a website, "During their walk into downtown Utrecht, they pass by the Nijntje Pleintje ("Miffy Square")...(http://www.lunasent.nl/month_33.html)"

These pictures are absolutely beautiful Smile

Did you take that last night - it was such a pretty sky!

By the way, I never heard back from the phoenix AS meetup either.  I live near kyrene/chandler blvd if you ever need a friendTongue

If you'd like to, sure. I can't promise anything exciting, though.
