Sorry GW, I went with Student Neurodiversity League... just submitted my application today. But thank you... if I get enough interested students from the other 2 universities I'm going to actively help them set up their own societies we can liase with.
Thanks guys... I've just got an email confirming my society will be open to the student body from the 25th Feb. So I've got a couple of weeks to think things up
The Autism Resource Centre in Glasgow are backing me and they're going to make students aware there's an on campus support society run by Aspies for Aspies/auties. One of the women who works at ARC says her sister is Disability Co-ordinator at NUS this year (thats National Union of Students btw
) and she'd be
very interested to hear from me, so she's passing on my email address
