Poo smearing is yukky and horrible. Poo is smelly and spreads diseases so I don't see anything good about painting it around the place. The proper place for it is to be flushed down the toilet. It really annoys me going to public toilets and finding big skid marks down the side of the bowl or worse still, on the seat. This has even happened at work. It would be far worse if somebody actually decided to paint on the walls with poo.

Most people give up doing poo smearing when they are about two years old. If it is a matter of sensation, letting kids or adults smear brown paint or clay would be better and wouldn't cause diseases.

Most people don't like cleaning up other people's poo and it is a real deal breaker for a child starting school if they still regularly poo their pants. I also remember a massive kerfuffle when I was in grade 1 because somebody had the effrontery to paint poo in the girls toilet (maybe it was a bit more expected in the boys toilets). Rumour had it that it was a little girl in my class who was known to be more than a little disturbed.

I agree that it is a terrible shame if people with LFA were known as poop-smearers and there was no recognition of the talents they have.
Oh, and what's this deal with saying G-D. It's God. Why the political correctness of missing out a letter?
He's also done it with Third Reich.
Even my Shintoism/Buddhism stuff ;p

As rubbish like as it seems sometimes.
No, I think "mystifying", "distracting" and "slightly bothersome" should just about cover my feelings about it.
Personally I just let ideas pass as long as I don't find them threatening in any way.

When I was about six, swimming lessons, some kid dropped a piece of excreta into an indoor school swimming pool we all were using.  All of us had to get out.

I don't know who it was, special needs, or just mean.

That happened at our local pool too. Once the other people found out, you never saw such a fast exodus from the water. The pool owner was furious because he had to drain and refill the pool and had to close it for the rest of the afternoon.

I don't tend to believe their is a greater scheme - to my mind it is all just fate and chance.

Hrick is very intelligent and wise - he has much to offer - he doesn't post quite as often as I would like him to - maybe Hrick could show a little alturism towards me and post more often so that I can enjoy hearing his thoughts about life. I get the impression he is gifted.

I tend to think most people are pretty selfish - even people who give their time and energy to help others. There is reward in helping others - it can help raise self esteem - and it feels good to feel needed.

whoops - this doesn't make sense - I should have said "to my mind it is not fate but chance".

Hrick - I wonder what your special interests are? I wonder if there is a way to ensure the gift overcomes the curse in your daily life. You analogy made me stop and think, it is a good analogy and I tend to think that there must be ways to work things so the curse can be made to have a minimal impact on daily life.
I wish I had your way with words.
It must be hard to think of yourself as being broken.

Okay - I have decided to bring that other thread over here.

I enjoy your posts ATM.
sorry about the mess.
If you wish to opt out of a debate, try to do so without a last-minute attack on the alternative opinion.

If you'd like to offer a factual, not emotional, reason why you believe my comments to be unfair, do so. If you'd like to opt out of the debate, then do that instead. If you use the "attack and run" method above though, you will be called on it.
