Welcome! Wow, you make beautiful pictures, I really love the rose, and all the other flowers for that matter. At first I thought you ment something else with yoyo, because in the netherlands it's called 'diabolo', but it's fun to do (although I'm not really good at it...). We do that with gymnastics sometimes.

I hope you have a great time here.
Those photos are amazing. What camera do you use?
I am just starting to get into photography, though I'm not yet ready to get into the DSLRs... I have a Canon Powershot G9, which is arguably the next best thing.
Here are some of the photos I've taken (not nearly as good as yours):

Welcome aboard!
I love the one of the bee...
~Welcome to AFF NovoMundum~
Your photography is great!

I love the little ladybug-it looks as if it is gathering courage to dive off the little leaf diving board~
Those photos are amazing. What camera do you use?
I use a Nikon D70, sometimes borrow a D80 from school. Right now I'm saving up for a D3, or whatever is out that's comparable once I have that kind of money lol.

Well... actually diabolos are different, they're amazing used in gymnastics and juggling. There is a style of yoyoing similar to diabolo that really took off in Germany back in the last yo-yo boom. But in general yoyos are smaller and the string winds around the axle and can be returned to the hand, instead of simply sliding on and popping off the string between two sticks like diabolo.
Amazing photography.
Are you too young to remember the Smothers Brothers. Tommy Smothers was an amazing yo-yoist.

Hello,
Amazing macro shots, great job! Photography is one of my special interests as well, and I spend a lot of time doing it. I’ve had one photo show in real life (and have another one scheduled in July) but I have never really published any of them online (with the exception of a few documentation pictures I took in a tsunami-devastated area, incredibly sad). I have a few DSLR cameras, but I actually prefer my hand-held Cannon! Not because it is easier to use (because that is not always the case) but because I find it suits my style of photography more than any of the professional cameras I possess.
P.S. Natalie, I checked out your Flickr page, nice shots! It is especially interesting to me because it is the wildlife I see on a day-to-day basis (I live in the North Bay Area, too) yet never have the chance to photograph.

Oh! Thanks for the information. In the Netherlands there is something else called a jojo, so I was very confused at first, but that's something else
It seems fun to do!
Welcome NovoMundum. Your photo of the rose is such a beautiful red colour. Do you have a Deviant Art account as well?
Now you say so, it indeed looks like a rose, but it isn't (I should look closer next time...) Those last pictures are beautiful, I love the drops of water!
Wikkid nature photos. So crispy clear, too!!! Wow.
Great photographs. I like the Ladybird most
