Yeah, I saw that on the news. It's really terrible Sad. People who do suicide bombings are usually cowards but these poor women probably didn't even know what they were doing.
If anybody else tells me the US is evil, and the poor Iraqi insurgents are doing the right thing.

I will tear them a new arsehole.
How does that help their cause?  The terrorists are stupid and worse.

1.  killing innocent people with mental disabilities
2.  killing 90 innocent people from their own country
3.  killing innocent animals
As far as i'm aware the entire Western, and indeed most of the Eastern world is up in arms about this.

I want brutal reparations Tongue
There are plenty of alternatives to reason.

I don't think anything justifies these kinds of tactics. Suicide bombings have to be almost the most morally bankrupt acts there are.

I wouldn't say that they were exactly suicide bombings when the person wearing the bomb may have not understood what was going on.  It is murder.

When someone asks you to do a suicide bombing-- tell them to go first and show you how it is done.  -but in a remote and unpopulated area very far away from you, animals etc.  I would even hesitate for them to do it in antarcticia because it could damage the environment.  Could they be sent into space somewhere?

Really? Killing yourself entails a certain measure of courage, albeit misapplied.
As Richard Dawkins said of the 9-11 hijackers:

Richard Dawkins Wrote:
Those people were not mindless and they were certainly not cowards. On the contrary, they had sufficiently effective minds braced with an insane courage, and it would pay us mightily to understand where that courage came from.

They died for the Iraqi people I suppose.

Heroes of the modern age.

From what I read this is an act of Al-Queida not the insurgents.

Bull. These suicide bombers believe that they are going to to heaven with absolute certainty. They are not facing death at all. They don't believe in it. Where is the courage in that.

I'm in the same ball park, heh.

Hardly, The insurgents hate Al-Queida.

I've read that the two women used as "suicide" bombers were Downs syndrome, and apparently in the past a child with Downs has been exploited in the same manner.

I think it's absolutely callous and disgusting. It shows us how much  these terrorists value disabled people. Rather than working to create a peaceful and prosperous nation that has enough wealth to afford to look after society's less able citizens, these terrorists are happy to live in chaos and poverty, and see "suicide" bombing as an opportunity to get rid of people who they see as disposable or problematic. There's no genuine morality or idealism behind their actions, just stupidity and fanaticism.
The pets killed didn't have a choice.
then neither did the other victims.

Creasy

If you eradicated poverty and built decent infrastructures in Iraq then terrorism would drop right off. It's no use splitting hairs over why terrorism is wrong, because we all agree that it is, but then again so is war. We have to attack its causes, otherwise it'll  be a never ending process of dealing with the symptoms of the cause.
