Cyndi Lauper comes to mind - she seems like a very open-minded person, and has always supported opressed communities. (Take the "True Colors" tour in support of LGBT rights, for instance). I think she would eb very supportive.

Ah, thankya!
I've been working on a list on the train to and from work - so far I have:
David Byrne (from Talking Heads)
Dan Akroyd (Diagnosed Aspie)
Daryl Hannah (Diagnosed "Borderline Autistic")
Audrey Tatou (From "Amelie" - Widely regarded as an autistic character)
David Lynch (Possible Aspie - can refer to him as an "Autistic Icon" due to the strange visual nature of his films)
Ian McKellen, Patrick Stewart, Hugh Jackman, Halle Berry, Kelsey Grammar, Anna Paquin, Ellen Page (All from X-men 3, often used as a metaphor for the anti-cure movement. Ian McKellen especially was involved in the early gay rights movement, so he may be open to the idea from his work with that)
Johnny Depp, Mary Masterson (From "Benny and Joon")
Jean-Pierre Jeunet (Director of Amelie)
Adam Sandler (Related to his role in "Punch Drunk Love")
Rolf DeHeer (Director of "Bad Boy Bubby" and "The Quiet Room" - both containing possibly autistic characters.)
Nicholas Hope (From "Bad Boy Bubby")
Tim Burton (Possible aspie - again, we can use the "Autistic Icon" idea)
Pauly Perrette (Plays "Abby" from "NCIS" - possibly autistic character)
Janeane Garofalo (Possible aspie, or "Autistic Icon")
Tracy Grandstaff (The voice of "Daria" - possible autistic character)
Taika Waititi, Jemaine Clement, Loren Horsley, Craig Hall, Joel Tobeck (From "Eagle vs Shark" - pretty much everyone in the movie exhibited some sort of autistic characteristics)
I have agent/business contact details for a few of these, but not many so far.
Cyndi Lauper's a good idea too - I'll add her to the list. Thankee SoupChef! *grins*

here is a useful source
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_peo...c_spectrum
Note do not include that S.O.B Tito he has willingly and (in my opinion) blindly / stupidly followed CAN and allowed himself to be a tool.
this is also a link to people speculated to have been autistic
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/People_spec...n_autistic
Note most of these people are dead and please do not include Adolf Hitler Not the best thing to use lol

Also... The Cliks. The lead singer is a perfect spokesperson for being yourself (he's transgendered) and they're a big inspiration to me... you can find their contact info on their webpage, and the lead singer himself also updates their myspace. http://www.myspace.com/thecliks
