I say that we let people post whatever they want so long as it can be read in a public setting (i.e. "safe for work", etc.). We really don't have as much openness about ideas as a lot of us like to believe, and I think that most of the controversy surrounding logicalconclusion is simply the fact that his ideas are very different than yours. True, he has been somewhat abrasive, but he hasn't yet flamed anyone (at least not seriously).
He does appear to have very different ideas about certain things but as a person against abortion except in very limited circumstances, I can find common ground with him there.

True, but there's plenty of people that debate against abortion without being insulting - Tigger, for example.
It's a debate that has a lot of grey areas, and it's generally the appearance of people like logical conclusion on both sides of the debate that make it impossible to talk rationally about it.
I'd be quite happy to re-discuss the issues once LC has been banned.
I'd still be putting up arguments against abortion on demand though.

Members who repeat posting offensive statements or pornography should be banned.

I believe it was right to silence LC's offensive statements one way or the other, but I also think ocampo should slack down her name-calling alittle, one reason is that comments that could easily be perceived as personal attacks tend to fuel arguments.

I would love to say what I think of you ocampo - but I can't - my morals and sense of what right - stop me.
It is a pity that LC didn't have the morals and sense of right not to say what he thought of people who weren't like him.
Fortunately for you I have morals and a sense of right too, and I regard ocampo as one of the best people to have joined this forum.
I also believe that everyone else who stood up to LC's evil is a worthy person.
Sometimes some people here appear to misjudge arguments and unfortunately stand up for the wrong party. Sadly this has happened quite a lot recently. I do hope that their judgement improves soon.
Perhaps you could disclose who this person prone to misjudgment is...?
