Aspies For Freedom

I am posting this message from the school that i go to, and in the ICT room where this event happened (theres only 1 ICT room).

We were in science and the teacher said we could continue with culture cubes (were in the art room that lesson, so thats why were doing them, and there cubes that respresent a cultures meals).
Anyway, i didn't have a meal with me, so i had offered to help Tom Boyd (who also has Asperger) and Ben Patterson (a total **** who has made high school a living hell, but i always forgive him for reasons i do not know) and they said i should go into the ICT room and get the nutritional value for the food (which was the english breakfast). so i went onto a computer and spent half a hour searching for a nutritional value website, and then started. When the lesson was 5 minutes from finishing, i went back in there and told them i had started, and they said "we allready have it". so i checked with the teacher and they did have the nutritional value allready brought in the week before.

I am seriously upset about this now, with multiple questions, why would a fellow aspie do this? what had i done to them? should i get revenge for this?

Probably Tom Boyd was trying to fit in with Ben Patterson, and he was doing it at your expense. Revenge... as long as it isn't too drastic.

I suggest not helping them next time and letting them figure it out themselves.

i thought i'd put a sad face next to that, but anyway.
Ben P has told me that Tom Boyd did it on purpose and that he didn't.

also, there arn't many people in my class, so i have to get along with them because otherwise i'm alone, well, during breaks and lunch time i go on a computer.

I think you will just have to let it go Artemis - if you try to get revenge this will just draw out their out cruel behaviour and you will feel more hurt in the long run. I think you are best just to accept their stupidity and let it go. Give it some time and your anger will abate and you will be able to feel better.
People behave stupidly sometimes - you did nothing wrong - they took advantage of your good character - don't let them drag you down to their level. One thing you could do - is to keep your eye out for a more trusting and reliable friend, and try to break contact with these guys a bit.

I could do that, but then they know they've won against me, and they always pull horrible tricks.

In primary someone with learning disabilities always told a bully when I acted weirdly, have difficulty forgiving him.

I imagine that you have a ' Record of Needs ' or IEP as you have AS.

Do you have a ' Guidance Support teacher ' who you can go to with this ongoing problem? It sounds like bullying to me & as such is probably something you need help with at the school.

That doesn't seem very often does your school have many pupils? The one that my son attends is a small country school with about 400 pupils, but there is someone there all of the time.
Do you think the person who comes fortnightly might be able to help, they are supposed to be confidential?

i go to a small school, and i asked if she could come in more often but she couldn't . about 400 - 500 pupils.
